You will not find a harder working more knowledgeable fly fishing guide than Hunter. I’ve been out with him two times and have learned so much. It would have taken years to learn what I have fishing with this guide service. His advise and guidance comes from what works on the water. He offered to meet me at a local spot and show me what works and a week later we went out and caught a lot of great fish. He did that for free just to help me get better. Great guide and person. If you want to have a great time, learn a lot this is the guy. Thanks Hunter

Spent the day with Stonefree drifter and it turned into a fish happy day. Hunter could not keep the net out of the water. He did an amazing job keeping us on fish. 5 stars.

Hunter took my husband & I out fly fishing and we had such a great time. Neither one of us had ever fly fished or caught trout. Hunter took his time & taught both of us in the first 30 mins. I was constantly making mistakes but he was so patient & just kept reminding me of what I should be doing. Hunter worked super hard in his drift boat to get us where we needed to be catch a lot of fish. It was a great day & I highly recommend him!

Great guide...knows the river really well..where to throw the line and when to set the hook...Hunter made my husband feel extremely comfortable ..he is very friendly...yes we will use him again..

Me and my buddy had an excellent time on the river. Hunter made sure that both of us met our goals for the day; which was to get a 15 plus inch rainbow and land some brook trout and brown trout. We got to fish a huge part of the river and try new techniques that we had not done earlier. Will definitely book another trip in the future!

One of the most enjoyable and fun days on the river I have ever had and not just because we caught fish. Hunter, our guide, is knowledgeable, considerate, flexible with accommodations, and most importantly has a true passion for fishing that was so refreshing to see. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I cannot say enough about my day on the Cumberland River with Stonefree Drifters. Not only were we lead to the fish, but we had so much fun on top of it. Hunter (our guide) has such a passion for the sport of fishing. He was very knowledgeable and considerate. You could clearly tell that he was there to ensure that we had the most amazing day. There is something to say about hiring someone to float you down a river to fish and then you walk away feeling like you gained a friend for life.
